What to eat for the perfect abs?

Working towards a toned torso is the hardest thing to do. Hearty breakfast, light snacks and a barely-there dinner can be a bit of a problem. So here is a list of things which can be easily incorporated in your daily diet –

Lean Protein:

  • Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast
  • Egg Whites
  • Fish (cod, shrimp, tuna)
  • Turkey Breast
  • Lean Beef (top round, top sirloin, flank steak)
  • Beans (black beans, garbanzo beans)

Clean Starchy Carbs:

  • Brown Rice
  • Yams or Sweet Potatoes
  • Oatmeal (old fashioned)
  • Whole Wheat Bread

Fibrous Carbs (Veggies):

  • Broccoli
  • Mushrooms
  • Red Onions
  • Sprouts
  • Peppers (red, yellow, green)
  • Cauliflower
  • Asparagus

Healthy Fats:

  • Olive Oil
  • Avocados
  • Nuts (walnuts, almonds)
  • Fatty Fish (salmon, tuna, sardines)
  • Almond Butter

Start with a few items initially and then start substituting all of the above in some form or the other. Good luck!
