How to get a mehendi outfit for less!

It’s time you stop following what others are doing and start dressing the way you want to! And no, you do not have to spend a bomb to look great at every wedding function you attend this season. Indian weddings are supposed to be full of colour and fun so make sure your outfit depicts the same.

Most of us can’t afford a Sabyasachi or any designer outfit. But we do want to look amazing don’t we? And the best way to stand out is to make sure that your outfit is unique! I mostly get a lot of my Indian outfits made and this kurta is no different. What I suggest you do for a mehendi or a smaller wedding function is that you go for a nice printed silk kurta and team it up with a neutral churidaar. If churidaars are not your thing, then you can also go for a pair of straight trousers.

No matter which city you’re from, your mom will direct you to a store where you can get printed silk and then all you gotta do is to find a decent tailor in your vicinity and get him to make it. Every tailor who can make a decent shirt will be able to stitch a decent kurta too. And the best part is? This is gonna be waaaay cheaper than getting something off the rack or from a designer store. Works best for those of you who’re on a budget. What say?_MG_7469
